Personally I’m still a big fan of the Top Commentator Plugin. It might attract a tiny bit more spam, but I find the genuine commentators often compete to get to the top, thus giving me more comments

I have actually do-followed the links from my site but restricted it only to my PR4 homepage. So the SEO value is significant and as I am now working to optimize the actual posts that I post, it does not really deduct from the SEO value of the overall site.

Since no one includes Pligg in their one click install, you have to install it yourself, but it's not that hard to customize it.

thanks for the post and codes,
on starton.us i have applied it, and if i put $url instead of $story_url it works fine, but the only problem is that it tweets the submitted url instead of the story detail page url…

and if i use the $story_url then it shows error, i guess it should actually show 0retweets instead of showing errors, any ideas? are you sure the $story_url = story detail page?
