We all want hosting for little cost, but still reliable.  While searching for a cheap host for a new client, I cam across Hosterio. Hosting starts as low as $11/year, though you may want to use a more expensive package for hosting Pligg, they have one for $22/year that would do fine. I may purchase a reseller package and host a few sites on it due to the low prices. Need a new design, they. 

As we noted some time back, some high profile websites have dropped Pligg as their base code for various reasons.  The consistant complaint is lack of development and insecure coding. The first to leave Pligg was Informed Networker. The next major site to leave Pligg is Foxiewire, they have now completed moving over to Drigg, the Drupal equivalent of Pligg.  Thusfar, it is far more secure.

Recently developers at Pligg released a module that would allow you to add this effect to your Pligg install.  However, the module should have undergone some testing or perhaps 1 moment of thought. Amazes me that these so-called “developers” didn’t realize that this effect as like most if not all Moo-tools effects will not work with Prototype which Pligg uses for most of. 

Its been a couple of weeks since our last Pligg template release.  Half way through the design of this template, I realized it looked a lot like ‘EntreCard’, but this was not my intent.
