Thank you for this tip. Actually, I’ve just tried to disable story submission by adding a blank file on that file. It seems to work!

I used Pligg bit it was always hit by spam, posts in non relevant categories,non working email ids, still the posts managed to get into the database. I tried many things, blocking the domains, using word filter plugin to disallow spam from getting posted, etc. Nothing worked then i had to delete the entire site with 30,000 members and around 100,000 posts, not sure how many of them were actually real users with genuine posts. Now i am using Hotaru, still i find many posts in non relevant categories.

that when you click on “spam” that email goes to the spam folder and
YOUR filter is trained to stop it the next time. If you click on “spam”
by mistake you must click on “not spam” the next time you receive that
email to reverse it.
