I have been visiting a lot of Pligg powered websites and the majority of them are niche based installs. At first I could see why, since there is already Digg, Mixx etc…, and most Pliggs will never compete with them, so stick to a niche. But now I wonder if going that route is best. [...]

First came Digg, many websites enjoyed and enjoy the barage of traffic that Digg can bring, but unless you are a Digg elite member, getting your website or blog post to the front page is almost impossible un less you do a never before seen post.
