Upcoming Free template – Pliggsign v9.9.0

Posted In Free Templates - By Geoserv On Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 With 15 Comments

I am almost finished with my next template for Pligg v9.9.0, I wanted to get some feedback prior to releasing it to ensure it was perfect. Below are screenshots of the main page and a story page, I will have a live demo available soon.

There are no add-ons, just the base Pligg install.

This will be a FREE template and hopefully, depending on response, will be released this week.

    looking good so far

    a few thoughts;

    why is footer scrunched in right corner? why not centered across bottom

    since its a 3 column, will you also have a layout like Future First with the extra columns to the right of the main body?

    I was thinking the left column could be for pligg stuff, and the right column for ads etc

    The footer was one thing I wasn’t sure on, but I thought I would put it there to make it different.

    I could make a fourth column in an updated release.

    It’s probably an issue with the template files as they are designed to work with 9.9.5. There is an upgrade tutorial on the Pligg site that tells you how to upgrade 9.9.5 templates to 1.0.

    I would start with that.

    I will see if I can come up with the solution.

    I also think it is a problem the template, because with the default template(wistie) works well…

    On the forum told me that the problem may reside in the file “/js/xmlhttp.php”, how can I solve?

    And if you replace the entire voting system of the old template with a compatible template of pligg 1.0.0

    It looks decent, a good base template, I would probably edit a little bit of the font styles as I am not a huge fan of those combos.
