Using Pligg with a travel niche

I have been trying to determine my next niche for a Pligg install. Normally I wouldn’t use a niche but I think just for the fun of it I will and experiment with what type of traffic it gets.
I was thinking travel. I like the layout of Cheaper than Hotels.com, with its clean layout, color choices and the way it has its rating system placed.
You could do a similar layout with categories like they have for example:
http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com/United-States/San-Francisco/
http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com/United-States/Miami/
http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com/United-States/Los-Angeles/
and eventually break it down in to sub categories with cities like:
http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com/United-States/New-York-City/
If you look at a hotel for example:
West Side Inn you can see the layout that could be used for each story submitted.
Not sure how to accomplish this part though with the photos:
Each story would be a review submitted by members who have traveled to certain cities, countries etc…
Any ideas on how to accomplish the photo layout?
What do you think of the idea?
