I am on the prowl for a decent all in one video conversion software package. I want to be able to do the following with it:
- convert videos to mpg format
- allow for editing of videos
- video compression
- video capture (a must)
- grab image from video
I was able to find one that can do all of this over at Blaze Media Pro, it has the above feature plus some additional ones like.
The one format I forgot about was .flv, which would probably be best for use on the internet. It video converter does support .flv luckily.

It also comes with a video encoder not sure whether I would need this or not. I am going to be posting the videos online, so if anyone knows whether that is important or not, let me know.
Check out their screenshot page for software previews, it has a plain interface, but appears to be a good find.
I would love your comments, impressions and suggestions on other software that would fit the bill.

I use Cyberlink PowerDirector and found it pretty good for my needs.
Yes, Sire is right. Cyberlink PD has worked for me too, but if there’s anything else out there with a better UI, I’m game.
